PENINGKATAN KUALITAS SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA(SDM) DALAM PENGEMBANGAN USAHA AGRIBISNIS (THE IMPROVEMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES IN DEVELOPING AGRIBUSINESS)

Abstract

Human resources represent assets that play an important agribusiness oriented role.
Professional human resources are oriented to profit, firm and sufficient, have
knowledge and skills both in the managerial area and technical area of cultivation. The
improvement of human resources is required to support the development of agribusiness
that it warrants optimal use of agricultural results by giving added-values through the
development and the mastery of processing technology and mutual relationship between
farmers, traders and agroindustry.
The processing stages and the handling of the agriculture commodity begin with preproduction,
post-harvest, transportation and marketing and each of the stage will
influence the agribusiness. Therefore, it is necessary to continuously develop and
improve the human resources that they are able to seize domestic and international
market opportunity.
The intensity of the improvement of the human resources quality is increased through 3
stages : education and training, direct guidance of immediate superiors and
consultation. It aims at achieving the obyectives of the development of the agribusiness.
