ANALISIS KELAYAKAN INVESTASI PABRIK PAKAN TERNAK DARI PUCUK TEBU DI PT. MADU BARU YOGYAKARTA

Abstract

Madu Baru PT as one of the biggest sugar factory and has hay sludge as raw
material for poultry food. The purpose of the research is to identify feasibility, risk
and problem from all aspect poultry food factory invesment with raw material hay as
sludge from sugar production.
The research was conducted by using the observation and survey methods.
The primary data consist of invesment cost year 2010 and the secondary data consist
of data forecasting from year 2011-2020 from company. The basic method was
conducted by using analysis descriptive, purposive sample method. The research
applied with Average Rate of Return, Payback period, Net Presen Value, Profitability
Index, Internal Rate of Return method, and Net Present Value Sensitivity method. The
result of the research indicates that poultry food from hay factory invesment feasible
to apply according marketing, production, management, social, competitor and
financial aspect. The result of risk analysis indicates that this invesment has not
sensitive or low risk. Result of invesment proposal judment can be Payback periode,
it is faster than economical age, Net Present Value > 0 (positive), Benefit Cost Ratio
> 1 and Internal Rate of Return > cost of capital. The research suggested that local
marketing is important beside export marketing, Madu Baru PT invites operator to
train labor factory and use sludge from poultry food production as a ferilizer.
