DAYA TARIK INVESTASI ASING DI YOGYAKARTA: PERSPEKTIF INVESTOR SETELAH TIGA TAHUN PERISTIWA GEMPA BUMI 27 MEI 2006

Abstract

This research had a purpose identified obstacle variables and the attraction of the foreign investor in investing in Yogyakarta. Moreover was observed also was as big the influence of the perspective of the foreign investor on the Yogyakarta condition that was serious the earthquake. This research was carried out in the Yogyakarta territory in May up until October 2009. The analysis implement that was used was the Analytical Hierarchy Process method (AHP) and the analysis of regression. AHP results were found that the factor that became the attraction of foreign investment in Yogyakarta was the cultural factor and tourism, with the weight 20,4%. The second factor was the institutional factor with the weight 20,2%. The third factor was the social security factor of politics with the weight 17,1%. The fourth factor was the infrastructure factor with the weight 13,3%. The fifth factor was the factor of regional economics, with the weight 12,5%. The manpower factor with the weight 9,3%. Further the Factor that had the lowered weight was the geographical location factor and the potential for the disaster with the weight of 7.2%. Through regression was found that the geographical location factor and the potential for the influential disaster negatively towards the attraction of foreign investment with the coefficient 0.281.
